Derived from the Japanese concept of “true feelings” and one’s intimate self, the two British producers – James Hatcher and Andy Clutterbuck – came up with the name HONNE. The duo has combined soul and synth to convey their vision of musical intimacy. With that, in 2014 they released their debut single “Warm on a Cold Night” with the same label who launched Aluna George and Bondax.
Following the release of their Coastal Love EP, the band headlined at a sold-out gig in London, followed by performances at various festivals in the UK and across Europe. In 2016, they released their debut studio album under the same name of their first single, Warm on a Cold Night and had toured around the world including Asia, Europe, North America including Coachella and Lollapalooza.
